: Pilio is Closing Down

Pilio aka iMeasure is shutting down its residential service this month. So I have extracted all meter data and some graphs.

MonthConsumed kWh (/d)Generated -kWh (/d) PeriodNotes
2026-01 367 (11.8/d) -66 (-2.1/d) 20251231T17:53Z:02Z to 20260131T19:48Z (31d) Meter readings: electricity generation 65.9kWh, export 0.6kWh, import 301.9kWh (thus net consumption (I+G-E) 367.2kWh, self consumption ((N-I)/N) 18%). See load profiles.
The Enphase emailed monthly report for January (triggered ) says: produced (generated) 66.1kWh (max 3.8kWh on the 24th), consumed 350.2kWh (max 18.8kWh on the 4th), grid energy imported 378.7kWh and exported 0.1kWh, grid dependence 86% (min 62% on the 31st).
The Ecotricity energy bill for this month was a little under £110. (Last January was colder and the bill was ~£130 just for electricity.) Ecotricity's estimated annual consumption (ie imports) for us is now ~1.2MWh.
For the month reported hph4 was 190kWh (heat 196kWh). Daikin stats report 208kWh for this month hph4 (possibly not including OpenTRV unit consumption). (Daikin since-installation figures reported : input space 801kWh, DHW 561kWh, total 1362kWh; output space 2196kWh, DHW 1294kWh, total 3490kWh; thus implied CoP: space 2.7, DHW 2.3, total 2.6. Pump running 2368h, space heating 1040h, DHW 276h. Eddi hph4 to end , with a few missing days from is 1286kWh so not far from Daikin 1362kWh.)
HDD12=197 vs 235 last January.
2026-02 268 (9.6/d) -99 (-3.5/d) 20260131T19:48Z to 20260228T17:18Z (28d) Meter readings: electricity generation 99.1kWh, export 2.9kWh, import 172.2kWh (thus net consumption (I+G-E) 268.4kWh, self consumption ((N-I)/N) 36%). See load profiles.
The Enphase emailed monthly report for February (triggered ) says: produced (generated) 100.1kWh (max 8.9kWh on the 25th), consumed 250.4kWh (max 12.8kWh on the 14th), grid energy imported 172.5kWh and exported 1.7kWh, grid dependence 69% (min 19% on the 25th).
The Ecotricity energy bill for this month was a little over £60, cf ~£100 for , roughly proportional to HDD.
For the month reported hph4 was 115kWh (heat 118kWh). Space heating could just about have been turned off at the end of February, and indeed was turned off . So our heating season was just over 3 months this time.
HDD12=108 vs 180 last February.
2026-03 272 (8.8/d) -296 (-9.5/d) 20260228T17:18Z to 20260331T15:33Z (31d) Meter readings: electricity generation 295.5kWh, export 72.4kWh, import 49.3kWh (thus net consumption (I+G-E) 272.4kWh, self consumption ((N-I)/N) 82%). See load profiles.
The Enphase emailed monthly report for February (triggered ) says: produced (generated) 297.5kWh (max 17.4kWh on the 26th), consumed 243.0kWh (max 10.7kWh on the 10th), grid energy imported 47.4kWh and exported 70.0kWh, grid dependence 20% (min 5% on the 28th).
There was net export in March for the first time since the heat battery was installed , with the new exergy-maximising setup.
The Ecotricity energy bill for this month was ~£30 for 48kWh, vs ~£40 for for 67kWh.
For the month reported hph4 was 73kWh (heat 98kWh, including 22kWh of divDHW).
Though space heating was turned off , outside temperatures were low enough to activate pipe-freeze protection and thus some low-level heating early morning and the following day for example.
HDD12=101 vs 124 last March.
