Work Notes ========== DHD20160929 Part of email from Paul at NPL today after our call: 2) Reference number We have created the following reference number for your protocol. This can be referenced in the test plan and test report. Suggest you use your own unique identifier (with version control) for the test plan and report, since these are intended to be documents produced and agreed between proposer (OpenTRV) and test body (OpenTRV). OpenTRV/005/SVP/NPL 3) Statistical analysis As part of internal review we have asked for input from our mathematical experts. As soon as we have this review I will feedback comments. These can then propagate through the protocol, test plan and test reports. 4) Audit We didn't discuss the time and format of the audit, but below is a reminder of the areas covered by the audit. It may be that documentation/evidence for the audit can be referenced in the test plan. During the audit the following were addressed: * Examination/ discussion of records (staff training and qualification, calibration of instruments, measurement and data logs, method validation reports) * Staff interview * Examination of test equipment and premises * Observation of practices (e.g. witnessing the tests and other relevant activities such as calibration, filling in of records, sample handling, data handling) in order to assess: * Competence of personnel * Equipment including instrument positioning and condition * Metrological traceability/ calibration * Environmental conditions * Sampling * Handling of test and calibration items * Software verification * Test methods and method validation and procedures * Quality of test and calibration results * Reporting Note: (2) reference number incorporated into test plan and report. Additionally ETV2016TRV1 reference number created for plan (header) though may be replaced by NPL in due course.
